Our group lessons are designed to help beginners and intermediate level players improve their table tennis skills. Participants will learn the rules of the game, forehand and backhand strokes, the basics of spin, proper footwork, how to serve and how to receive serves, as well as techniques to improve consistency, accuracy, speed and power.
Group classes are 60 minutes in length, and are conducted on a single table. Participants take turns on the table playing with the coach, and listen and watch in between turns. Our coaches utilize a variety of modern training techniques to improve your game. These include:
- One on one stroke practice
- Practice drills with fellow classmates
- Multi-ball stroke practice
- Shadow practice
- Footwork drills
- Service practice
- Service return practice
- Table tennis specific stretches and exercises
To get the most out of group training we recommend arriving early to properly warm up.
