Coach Alberto Acuna

As a former member of the Peruvian national table tennis team, Coach Alberto is an experienced, high level table tennis player. He knows the game very well, and knows how to teach all skill levels and styles. He will help you to improve all areas of your game, regardless of your current skill level.

Coach Pettuan Yap

Coach Pettuan is a highly experienced table tennis player and coach. She was classically trained in Asia and has been playing at a high level for over 30 years. She has been teaching the sport to kids and adults in Southern California for the past 15 years and has developed a strong following among those who are looking to learn to play correctly, whether for exercise, recreation or competition. As a multidisciplinary athlete who also competes in volleyball and distance running, coach Pet is well aware of the unique strengths and opportunities for improvement any aspiring player may possess and the challenges many of us are likely to face when learning new skills. She has developed training techniques that cater to a variety of learning styles and strives to make the game both fun and challenging, while producing measurable results.

Coach Angela Tian

Angela Tian is a Los Angeles–based table tennis coach and 2024 ITTF World Masters Championships bronze medalist. A former professional player from the USSR, she was a junior national champion and a two-time bronze medalist at the European Youth Championships.

Her sessions focus on technique, consistency, serve, and competitive point play, with structured drills and real-game scenarios tailored to all levels. Whether you’re a beginner or a competitive player, this is an opportunity to train with a high-level coach and elevate your game.

Coach Alex Marquez

Coach Alex learned the game and developed as a player at South Bay Table Tennis. Early in his career, he competed in tournaments throughout Mexico and Southern California. As a coach, he works with players of all ages, primarily at the beginner and intermediate levels, emphasizing core technical skills, proper footwork, and optimal body mechanics. He takes a structured, supportive approach and designs lessons around each player’s goals.

Coach Lloyd McQueen

Coach Lloyd is a highly ranked USATT tournament player, tournament organizer and club owner. He specializes in helping beginner and intermediate players to learn the important fundamentals of the game, as well as advanced playing skills which can be used in both recreational play and high level tournament competition. If you are serious about learning and improving, he is ready to work with you to realize your table tennis goals.

Coach Jordan Yee

Coach Jordan is a table tennis fanatic! With over ten years’ experience working with youth, he has a passion to teach table tennis skills to kids entering the sport. In addition, he is a board member for the Los Angeles Ping Pong League and builds teams in our local schools. Moreover, he organizes tournaments in Southern California for the National Collegiate Table Tennis Association and worked for Major League Table Tennis, the first professional ping pong league in the US. Coach Jordan is a strong advocate of developing healthy and active lifestyles through sports and strives to introduce competitive table tennis to our community.
